Canibus: The Emerald Cypher (feat K-Rino, Killah Priest & Born Sun)

Three lyrical heavyweights collide on “The Emerald Cypher” as Canibus is joined by K-Rino & Killah Priest on his latest single (Born Sun surprisingly holds his own as well). The track appears on the new album Lyrical Law, with disc one being available now on iTunes. Canibus got arguably the best lineup of guests he’s ever had on this LP with Heltah Skeltah, Planet Asia, Royce da 5’9 (despite their beef) & K-Solo also appearing on the album. Gotta give Bis credit for getting K-Rino on 3 tracks since he’s showing his dedicated fanbase a lyricist that’s arguably better than him

Medicine for Mommy by Kil Ripkin

Hip Hop is a culture that was created by and for the people, and when it comes to exhibiting that love and passion for the art, nobody displays it like Kil Ripkin the Genereal, AKA Rip The Godian. Hailing from the Coney Island section of Brooklyn N.Y., Kil set out early on his journey to make an impact in Hip Hop. He began his career as a solo artist, quietly establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with; earning the respect of his peers and industry heads alike. Currently, Kil is preparing to release The Quickening, Vols. 1 & 2 and his highly anticipated LP, titled The Balancing Act, along with a few other surprises featuring production by Khrysis, Charles Herron, Eric G, Krutty Ranks, Mikal Evans, Wally Suede, Phase Logic, Tony Roche (The Exceptionalist), and Raticus. Kil Ripkin has a sound and lyrics that are best described as soulful, truthful, spiritual and rebellious. After one listen, you will surely remember what Hip Hop truly sounds like
